The Journey of AutUmn is a captivating point-and-click adventure game that follows the story of an android on a mission to gather information about a planet for its builders, with the ultimate goal of recolonization. Initially controlled by an AI named AC-0209, the android gains the ability to make independent decisions after an accident disrupts the remote control. This newfound autonomy creates tension with AC-0209, who lacks a physical form and relies on the android for mobility.
As the android explores the planet, it encounters a variety of bizarre creatures, including moth cats, broccoli animals, flying stream rays, and gigantic tentacle plants. The planet is also home to other AIs that have been stranded for centuries, leading to their peculiar behavior. Throughout the journey, the android uncovers the history of the planet and its builders, ultimately facing a choice between serving as a tool for the builders or becoming an independent entity.
